February 19th Snow Tubing/ Skiing Trip

Signup Deadline: February the15th (only 32 slots available for tubing) . skiing half day lift tickets

Date: February, Saturday the 19th Time for tubing is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: Bryce Resort 1982 Fairway Drive, Basye, VA 22810

Transportation will be provided. Arrive at FUPCDC at 9:00 am to depart to Bryce resort, pickup no later than 4 pm on Saturday.

Attendees will be spending 90 mins of snow tubing fun with their friends at the snow tubing park. We will be offering a snow sport merit badge for the boys if there is enough interest as well. The scout must be able to snow ski or snow board already and will be working with an ASM to complete this merit badge. This will involve purchasing a lift ticket and rentals if the scout does have their own gear.

Eat breakfast before arriving. Scouts can bringing their own money to purchase lunch on the road or they can buy food from the ski resort at the dining hall.

Masks: Masks will be required while the scouts are in the vehicles during transporation.

Clothing: Wear appropriate clothing that allows for movement and that will keep your warm outside on the snow slopes. Water proof shoes are preferred. There is a changing area at the resort for the boys so they will not have to wear their snow gear while in the vehicles.

Snow sports merit badge Lift ticket $70.00 for all day (9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.)

Lift ticket and rentals $120.00 for all day ( 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.)
