April 22-24 Hiking/Biking Campout

Location: Cedarville State Forest, Brandywine, MD

Scouts need to meet at FUPCDC by 4:30 pm (5:00 pm for new patrols/5th graders) on Friday, April 22, 2022 to depart.

Scouts will participate in hiking and/or biking on this campout, as well as work on a portion of the camping merit badge. Scouts must provide their own bicycles and must have a helmet.

Eat dinner prior to arriving at the church on Friday. Scouts should be dressed in Class B Uniforms for departure from and returning to the church.

Clothing: Scouts should bring appropriate clothing that allows for movement and will keep them warm while hiking and/or biking. Athletic clothing is suggested for biking. Jeans are not recommended.

Scouts must indicate their selected activity they sign up. If they select biking they are expected to bring a bicycle in good working order. Scouts who are biking must have a properly fitting helmet.

Adults: Adults may participate in either Hiking, Biking or neither. Adults biking must also provide a bicycle in good working order and a properly fitting helmet.

Costs: $26 for scouts and adults ($18 for meals ($4.50 x 4 meals), $5 equipment fee, and $3 supply fee)
