Troop Policy

The Troop Policy governs the operation of the Troop and sets the guidelines for Troop Activities, Events and Members.

Troop 964 Scout Code of Conduct

All Scouts and Scouters of Troop 964 are always expected to exhibit “Scout Spirit”, which is
defined as the daily living of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. The Troop 964 Scout Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for conduct at all Troop 964 Events.

BSA Membership Applications:

Youth Membership Application: for youths 11-17 years of age wishing to join a Scouts BSA unit, such as Troop 964.

Adult Membership Application: for adults 18 years of age or older wishing to join a Scouts BSA unit, such as Troop 964. Note that adults must also complete the Background Investigation Authorization form.

Medical Forms

Any Scouting Event less than 72 Hours:  The BSA Medical Form (Parts A&B) are needed for any scouting activity, such as Troop Campouts, and must be completed annually.
Any Scouting Event 72 Hours or longer: The BSA Medical Form (Parts AB&C) is necessary for Scouts to participate in extended overnight events, such as Summer campouts. The C section of the form requires an annual physical by a physician.

The Troop Fee Worksheet breaks down the annual costs per scout which are collected upon joining and upon recharter.

Welcome Letter

The Welcome Letter outlines the vast majority of Troop operational details and provides a great source of information for perspective and new Scout families joining Troop 964.

Troop Resource Survey

The Troop Resource Survey allows the Troop leadership to collect information on the Skills and Talents of adults joining the Troop in areas such as Merit Badge help and skills for other Scout Activities.
