Earn the Railroading Merit Badge
Troop 964 offers a workshop on both Saturday and Sunday, during the annual Train Show, where Scouts can earn the Railroading Merit Badge. Scouts from ANY troop can register for the workshop. Please register early as spots fill quickly and only a limited number of scouts can attend.
Workshop meets all requirements for the Merit Badge including Operations Lifesaver, Railroading Industry, Car Building, Time tables and scheduling, and a Review and Tour of all Train Layouts. Details for the workshop are below along with the registration paperwork for Scouts.

Costs: | $25 per Scout – Includes admission and supplies only Lunch can be purchased for the Scout at the time of registration for an additional $5 Pre-purchase lunch options are, and include chips, drink and cookie: 1. Two Hotdog meal 2. Mac & Cheese meal |
Registration Details: | 1. Complete the Railroading Merit Badge Workshop Registration Form Submit form online, via email or by mail 2. Submit payment via mailed check by March 1st, 2019 Payments, via check, must be mailed to address on registration form 3. Await confirmation of registration |

Guidance for Scouts: | Dress Code: Class A Uniforms Arrival: Arrive by 12:00PM, Scouts must check-in before classes What to Bring: Railroading Merit Badge Worksheet in a binder or on a clipboard Notebook or Binder with paper 2 Pencils, 2 Pens Water Bottle Pre-Requisites: Merit Badge Blue Card SIGNED by their Troop Scoutmaster Complete Railroading Merit Badge Worksheet Section 1 Scouts should have lunch BEFORE workshop Lunch can be purchased at our Club Car beginning at 11AM |

Refunds may be requested BEFORE March 1st, 2019. No refunds after March 1st, 2019. 4. There are 80 spots available on both days a. Scouts need only attend one day to earn the merit badge. b. Scouts may attend either day desired. c. Cost is same for either day (Saturday or Sunday). |
